Q.
How to do Outlined text?
A. Check
into the options in the Object Inspector... you can confine a stroke to
just the outside or inside of the fill, over the fill always overlay the
stroke, etc. This can really help with various fancy text styles.
(btw, please *do* save your work as a style...
lets you easily reuse it in subsequent projects!)

Q.
How do I create Metallic Text Graphics?
A. One of
the ways people give things metallic appearance is to have it appear to
reflect something. A good starting point might be a "Satin" gradient fill,
set to to black/white... adjusting the Paintbucket handles on the fill
can give you a wide range of looks. A slight beveling, perhaps a dropshadow...
that's one way to get this type of effect.

Q.
I'm going crazy trying to find out how to align my text in an image.
I have an image that is 460X50 and I want the text to be *exactly* centered
vertically and horizontally in the center of the image. The text align
attributes only apply to within the text box and the Modify > Align submenu
options are greyed out. They become active if I select the text object
and another object in the image but that is not what I want (this only
aligns the two in relation to each other).
A. -
make the text frame the same size as the image and then center the text
in that frame (V and H)...

Q. How do I attach
text to a circle?
A. If you would like to attach text
to a circle follow these steps.
1. Draw out your circle
2. select the text tool and type your text
3. select both the text block and the circle
4.Now under the text menu (at the top of the screen) look for attach to
path, and select it.
