     Lynda Weinman has created some great videos for learning Macromedia products. Currently, she has videos for: DW2, Flash 3, Fireworks 1 & 2, and an upgrade to Fireworks 2, for owners of Fireworks 1 Be sure and read my notes from the Fireworks 1 Video). It's good through April 30. She's also written 6 books, and they are all recommended.

One-Day Fireworks Tutorial
     Michael Kay, one of the regulars at Webmonkey, wrote an article on Fireworks 1. Anything from Webmonkey is a good read. After your done with that, read their article on The ImageReady vs. Fireworks Shootout.

Macromedia Fireworks Competitive Edge
     A good, graphical comparison of Fireworks 1 to PhotoShop 4.0, and DeBabelizer 3.0/4.5 (Win, Mac).

Optimizing Web Images Using Macromedia Fireworks 1
     A good tutorial on FW1, dated September 16, 1998. Touches on the highlights, and has PDF files for all tutorials.

Creating Web Graphics: CNET compares graphic tools
     A very well written article on Fireworks, that's located in the middle of a CNET story on creating web graphics. The entire article, entitled "Web Graphic Secrets Revealed", begins here.

The Dreamweaver Bible
     Joseph Lowery wrote this fantastic book and is in the process of developing the Fireworks Bible. You can go to his site, and email him if you want to be notified of it's release date.

Fireworks for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide
      Sandee Cohen, a regular on the Message Board,is the author of this book. Her site also contains some great addons for Fireworks, including Patterns, Brushes, and Gradients.

Dreamweaver's Fan page
     Massimo is another frequent visitor to the Board. His site is primarily for Dreamweaver, but he has added a section for Fireworks, which includes some Textures and HTML Styles for download.
